Rickie Fowler, A History

Rickie Fowler is an ace professional golfer of American nationality who plays on the PGA Tour. He had held a number one position for 36 consecutive weeks in 2007 and 2008. He turned professional to play in the Albertsons Boise Open on the Nationwide Tour. In 2009 he signed a deal with Titleist, which was followed by a deal with Rolex. At the Waste Management Phoenix Open he finished second during the February of 2010.

This was followed by his third PGA Tour runner-up finish at the Memorial Tournament in Dublin, Ohio. Although he entered the final round in the lead, he finished right behind Justin Rose for the second spot on the tournament. During September 2010 he was picked for the Ryder Cup team in U.S. this made him the youngest member ever to play at the Ryder Cup. The very same year, his endeavours and performances won him the Rookie of the Year award over Rory McIlroy.

At the beginning of the season in 2011 Rickie Fowler tied at the 54-hole, but a double bogey wrecked his opportunity to bag his first PGA Tour win. During the month of October, the very same year he won his first Asia Tour win at the Kolon Korea open closely followed by Rory McIlroy. The same year he was ranked 32 on the Official World Golf Ranking.

2012 was a particularly lucky year for the budding star as he won the Wells Fargo Championship in Charlotte, North Carolina at the very beginning of the season. Rickie Fowler thus bagged his first PGA tour win by defeating Rory McIlroy gloriously at the 18th hole. The same year he filmed a commercial for the Crowne Plaza Hotels that also featured golf commentator Ian Baker Finch. He has been seen in many campaigns and commercials since.
